What we do
Opening Doors is about supporting people with learning disabilities to take a full and active part in their community, increase their confidence, widen their social network and improve their health and wellbeing
Our network of volunteers and partner organisations enables us to deliver almost 400 activities for people with learning disabilities every year
Sadly our doors are temporarily closed due to the coronavirus outbreak. In the meantime drop us a note and we’ll get in touch as soon as we can. We look forward to when we can get back to doing what we do best: opening doors.
I would like to volunteer
We are always keen to hear from new volunteers. You can choose to work with us regularly or at one-off events. Some of our volunteers have a learning disability themselves. If you are based in or near London and would like to be a part of Opening Doors, we would love to hear from you.
I would like to join an activity
Opening Doors is open to people with learning disabilities across London. We have a big range of activities, from rock climbing to supper clubs, filmmaking to theatre trips, badminton to rugby! There really is something for everyone. Get in touch to find out more
I would like to partner with Opening Doors
If your organisation would like to partner with Opening Doors, we would be delighted to discuss this in more detail. Please contact us
